About Blackberry Leap – Quick Review
Blackberry Leap in look and feel and specs is a smartphone built for productivity. In design it is more like Z3 except for the soft curves of the Z series. It has sharp corners that is obviously meant for serious business. It is solid as a rock and its quality is admirable.
Blackberry Leap like Z10 and Z30 has an all-touch screen. Actually there really isn’t much difference between all 3 smartphones as far as their internals are concerned.
Blackberry Leap is 5 inches in size with a 1280 x 720p LCD display. Like Classic, Leap runs on Blackberry 10.31 OS.
Leap is among the handful of Blackberry phones without a physical keyboard. But typing experience on it is just as fantastic as with physical keyboard and as good as you would find on any touch screen device.
As I have mentioned before, Leap has about the same internal with Z10 and Z30. Like Z10 Leap is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Plus Chip, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage that can be expanded with a microSD card up to 128GB. And Z30 is the same except that it has a slightly faster processor of 1.7GHz dual core S4 Pro.
Working around the device is very fast. It’s as fast as your fingers can go. And only pause for a second for an app or email message to load.
On Blackberry Leap the browser performance is sleek. And page load is fast.
Like Z10 and Z30 Leap sports a 8MP camera with 2MP front facing shooter. The Camera is versatile and comes with a handful of settings making the camera a handy feature for professionals whose job involves regularly taking pictures or professionals who are into selfies and Video-calling.
If you’re wondering Z10 vs Z30 vs Leap which to buy, well as you’ve seen both phones are almost identical so which to buy will depend on what you intend to use the phone for, your preferred design and budget.
Leap no doubt was built for productivity. If you’re a professional that need a tool to help your productivity such as keeping up with emails, or you just want a device that make you appear as a professional and or make you appear busier than you really are (totally not judging 🙂 ) then Leap is the best. But if you intend to use the phone for personal use, meaning a little work and a lot of fun then perhaps Blackberry isn’t even the best choice? You’re likely to get Android phones with same specs at lesser prices than Blackberry and same inches less bulky than Leap. You decide.
